What You Will Achieve

The AI Solution Engineering Manager will define the technical direction, standards, and solution profiles for multiple Intelligent Solution projects and experiences that exceed customer expectations and meet business objectives. This role requires someone who can work with both technical and non-technical delivery managers and customers to advise on how we address business challenges. The AI Engineering Solution Manager will provide oversight and guidance to our development teams and provide vision and direction on multiple projects across our global customer base. They will support solution design and project estimation for AI projects spanning digital assistants to custom AI applications.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Work with Delivery Managers and Delivery Teams across the globe to provide direction and oversight of technical solution delivery

  • Lead initial solution design with customers

  • Support development of project estimates with the Delivery Managers

  • Provide architecture oversight and approval and lead solution code reviews

  • Ensure alignment with organization and industry standards by our delivery teams

  • Provide vision around moving solutions to products

  • Manage roadmap and progress on the productization and enhancement of AI products

  • Be a face of the IAS AI Product portfolio, engage customers and evangelize

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelors in a S.T.E.M. Field

  • 5+ years of experience delivery technology projects

  • 5+ years delivering cloud based and/or microservice-based solutions

  • 2-3 years providing code reviews in a language such as Java or Python

  • 2-3 years developing solution designs

  • Experience building and deploying scalable and secure production grade solutions

  • Understanding of machine learning capabilities and their applicability to various real-world challenges

  • Experience working with cross functional teams that do not have direct reporting relationship across various geographies and time-zones

  • Experience and understanding of existing and emerging healthcare industry data and technology standards

  • Experience managing business relationships to assess and predict needs, offer innovative solutions, and grow a business / technology partnership

  • Demonstrative success in problem solving and critical thinking in a fast-paced collaborative environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams across Pfizer

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Experience in management consulting
