Snap Inc. Product Manager in New York City, New York

Lead a new and highly visible Augmented Reality (AR) platform product from inception to launch to scale. Develop and prioritize strategies, product initiatives, ultimately impacting thousands of AR developers and hundreds of millions of Lens users each day through the use of your product. Partner closely with Engineering, Design and other cross functional stakeholders to bring the product to life. Be an AR platform thought-leader translating the needs of the Lens developer ecosystem into a product that connects the developer experiences with Snap’s highly engaged AR audience. Analyze patterns and trends to expand the impact, utility and potential of Lenses. Collaborate with sales, partnerships, and product marketers to help devise the go-to-market & growth strategies in different markets around the world. Drive cross-functional conversations and alignment around the product strategy, data model, and priority for commerce features. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable products. Work with engineering, data science and design teams to build, test, and ship product experiments. Present data-driven insights and recommendations. Required education/experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications or related field plus two (2) years of experience as a Project and/or Product and/or Production Manager, as a Content Manager and/or Content Specialist, or related experience; OR in lieu of this, the employer will accept four (4) years of experience in the job offered, as a Project and/or Product and/or Production Manager, as a Content Manager and/or Content Specialist, or related experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Required skills: Knowledge and/or experience in: Project management. Task management for producing resources using JIRA tools. Timeline estimation for production processes. Experience in A/B Testing and Experimentation. Experience developing premium consumer product experiences in games, advertising, or other relevant entertainment field. Experience driving technical specifications with design and engineering organizations. Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis. Knowledge of AR/VR technologies. Experience owning and driving end-to-end product launches across engineering and design teams and leading trade off decisions.Knowledge/experience means knowledge/experience sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.**OTHER: Job Site: Snap Inc., 229 West 43rd Street, New York City, NY 10036. *Hybrid work permitted - Snap practices a “default together” approach and expects our team members to work in the New York City, NY office at least 80% of the time (an average of 4 days per week). 40 hours/week; $138,000 - $207,000 per year.
