Job Title: Director of Revenue Management

Reports to: Controller

Location: Hybrid

Salary range: $122K to $140K*

*New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.

Position Overview:

The Director of Revenue Operations will lead and manage the people, processes, and technologies that support revenues by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the revenue staff, processes, and operations of accounts receivable recordkeeping, collection, and collaboration.

  • Manage the process of receiving contributions including tracking for internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with the development team to ensure this information is accurate and collaborating on tracking.

  • Ensure accurate recording of revenue recognition in a timely fashion.

  • Monitor and track revenue and other KPIs related to accounts receivable.

  • Prepare regular reports to senior management as it relates to revenue and accounts receivable.

  • Support external governmental audits to ensure compliance.

  • Assist in monitoring of cash flow.

  • Oversee month end close to ensure timeliness of billing.

  • Supervise activities of billing specialists, including Medicaid.

  • Participate in financial processes and system enhancements.

  • Build cross-divisional collaboration to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timeliness of information as it relates to revenue and accounts receivable transactions and planning.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Problem solving skills and a can-do approach to work.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Communicate collaboratively with program directors and leadership.

  • General knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing a plus.

  • Knowledge of NICRA and indirect cost rate methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field. MBA or CPA a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in expanding roles.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience in analyzing and developing reimbursement claims for NYC, State, Federal or non-governmental funding sources.

  • Ability to supervise and lead a team to meet goals and objectives of the finance department.
