The Office of Undergraduate Advisement and Orientation seeks a Navigate360Administrative Organizational and Business Effectiveness Specialistto support the campus-wide Navigate360 team, with special focus on configurations and maintenance of the system.
Navigate360 is a student success management system designed to help colleges and universities support students throughout their academic journey. It enables faculty, advisors, and administrators to track student progress, identify at-risk students, and coordinate interventions to improve retention and graduation rates.
Navigate360 combines technology, research, process improvement and predictive analytics to enable proactive, data driven conversations with students. By leveraging student data, predictive analytics can suggest what courses are problematic for which students, what is the expected likelihood of success for students who perform at certain levels in specific courses or major, what additional options for success are suitable for students based on their current performance. Early identification and use of this information can positively affect student outcomes.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations and Lead Application Administrator, the Navigate360Administrative Organizational and Business Effectiveness Specialist will support multiple student success initiatives and will be critical in the continued implementation of Navigate360. This includes working with departments across the college to onboard and train on the utilization of the system, creating reports for user consumption, reviewing, and amending existing training materials, and developing additional resources to create a comprehensive Navigate360 resource web page for staff, faculty, and students. They will also assist in adding content to the Navigate360 student app for wider use across Baruch College.
Since Navigate360 is a campus-wide resource, theAdministrative Organizational and Business EffectivenessSpecialist will work with various academic programs both within and outside of the Office of Undergraduate Advisement and Orientation to ensure that each program is equipped with both the knowledge and system preferences needed to utilize Navigate360 as a means for carrying out their day-to-day functions. The Specialist is a well-rounded enrollment professional supporting Baruch College’s vision and mission for student success.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview,Administrative Organizational and Business EffectivenessSpecialist will be responsible for the following duties:
· Coordinate the progress reports and cases outreach process involving students experiencing academic and/or personal challenges to their success.
· Manage Navigate Student app to-dos, tips, resources, events, and general content.
· Coordinate communications to targeted student populations though campaigns.
· Facilitate the onboarding of new departments and campus partners to align their needs with Navigate capabilities.
· Update configurations such as but not limited to location settings, automations, and student-to-staff/faculty assignments.
· Develop content, update, and maintain the Navigate360 user website.
· Deliver training to new platform users and provide ongoing training to the campus community related to software updates and enhancements.
· Generate data-based reports of departmental and college-wide initiatives.
· Monitor the Navigate360 email account and provide troubleshooting for Navigate360 users.
· Ensure the effectiveness of programs impacting academic advising (ex: Coursedog)
· Essential duties require on-campus presence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's degree in a Technology or Business-related field and/or equivalent work experience.
· Experience with designing systems to improve business processes preferably in an academic environment.
· Experience working with Customer Relationship Management Software (CRMs), WordPress, EAB Navigate360 or other Student Success Management Systems.
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Software, specifically MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, etc.). Familiarity with Qualtrics is a plus.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including developing and presenting training materials.
· Strong time-management skills and a keen ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
· Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
· Strong customer service and organizational skills.
· Strong Computer and Technical Skills.

$64,649 - $70,238; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
