Kiewit Power Constructors Co. Area Project Engineer in New York, New York
Kiewit Power Constructors Co., has a position in Albany, NY Area Project Engineer - DUTIES: -Responsible for tracking and forecasting cost and revenue for $400M worth of work. Plan and facilitate weekly client and 3rd party stakeholder (CSX) meetings, construction deliverables and commercial issues and change orders. Meet planning and scheduling responsibilities. Design build support & development including engineering services during construction (as-builts, DRFI, etc.). Train and develop group of field engineers staff. Additionally, responsibilities include construction software applications, such as InEight Suite of applications, including 1 year of experience in at least 4 of the following: InEight Document, InEight Estimate, InEight Change, InEight Contract, InEight Plan, InEight Progress; advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, advanced graphs, and tracking; tracking and forecasting cost and revenue for $100M or larger civil infrastructure projects; using BlueBeam Revu to perform design constructability, as-built redlines, construction planning (including takeoffs), and work packages; identifying, tracking, pricing, and resolving commercial issues and change orders; and project planning and execution with railroad authorities, such as CSX, Amtrak, or Canadian Pacific this includes design coordination, construction deliverables, and permitting.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related engineering field and 5 years of experience. Also, 3 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) knowledge of construction software applications, such as InEight Suite of applications, including 1 year of experience in at least 4 of the following: InEight Document, InEight Estimate, InEight Change, InEight Contract, InEight Plan, InEight Progress; (2) advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, advanced graphs, and tracking. Additionally, 2 years of experience stated herein to involve: (a) tracking and forecasting cost and revenue for $100M or larger civil infrastructure projects; (b) using BlueBeam Revu to perform design constructability, as-built redlines, construction planning (including takeoffs), and work packages; (c) identifying, tracking, pricing, and resolving commercial issues and change orders.
