What You Will Learn:

The Integrated Medical Communications (IMC) Event Assistant Manager supports the Director of Events by managing operational and administrative aspects of medical professional events, including congresses and symposia. This role ensures efficient project delivery and provides comprehensive administrative support to the IMC team.

  • Collaborates on event execution: Provides comprehensive support for planning, producing, and executing in-person meetings, trade shows, and special events, working closely with the Director of Events.

  • Drives project success: Handles key project management elements, encompassing hotel arrangements, food and beverage, audiovisual needs, conference registration, and pre- and post-event communications.

  • Streamlines IMC operations: Provides vital administrative support to the IMC team, including purchase order creation and management, vendor onboarding, and procurement of materials and supplies.

  • Supports executive leadership: Assists the VP with administrative tasks such as calendar management, expense report processing, and travel arrangements.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communications, PR, Hospitality or related field)

  • Minimum 2-5 years Trade Show experience

  • Special events, meeting planning experience

  • Travel required, occasionally over a weekend (20%)

  • May be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CTSM or CMP

  • Cvent experience

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $82,900 - $100,470 ( The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
