Position Summary
Weill Cornell Medicine seeks an Associate Behavioral Interventionist to assist in several grant-funded research studies of negative emotions in older adults. The Associate Behavioral Interventionist will support the delivery of research-related short-term psychotherapy to middle-aged and older adult participants at Weill Cornell Medicine offices in an outpatient setting and via Zoom.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in administering manual-based psychotherapy to participants in an outpatient setting under supervision.
Help document participant interactions using clinical notes and study databases.
Attend weekly supervision sessions and training workshops.
Assist with other job-related duties as required.
Education
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or related field preferred
Experience
Prior experience in a research setting or with geriatric populations is beneficial but not required.
Experience with RedCap, Epic, & Qualtrics highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of software including MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
