Immediate Opening for Associate Research Scientist with Professor Andrew Smyth at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering & Applied Science, Department of Civil Engineering & Engineering Mechanics and Principal Investigator for the NSF Engineering Research Center for Smart Streetscapes. The successful candidate will conduct leading-edge research in smart city technology and applications with the following responsibilities:
* Integration of technologies and research products to build applications;
* Recommending technologies to support projects;
* Executing software engineering tasks;
* Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans;
* Mentoring;
* Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including engineers, social scientists, and urban planners.
PhD in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Work experience in academia and/or industry.
This appointment is funded by the NSF Engineering Research Center for Smart Streetscapes (Award Number 2133516). The appointment period is subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Minimum Salary: 77000.00 Maximum Salary: 130000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
