Livingston Management Services, LLC is looking for a Budget Analyst. Location of Employment: New York, NY Job Duties1. Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses to assess the impact of proposed budgetary changes on the organization's financial health and long-term strategic goals.2. Collaborate with senior management to create and implement complex budget models that aid in forecasting and informed decision-making.3. Offer strategic budget-related recommendations to optimize resource allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance operational efficiency across various departments.4. Contribute to the development and execution of long-term budget plans, identifying potential risks and formulating risk mitigation strategies.5. Collaborate on the development and implementation of budgeting systems and tools aimed at streamlining the budgeting process, improving accuracy, and facilitating efficient data analysis.6. Utilize data visualization tools like Tableau to present financial and budgetary data, as well as trends, in a visually compelling manner.7. Employ strong data analysis skills and database management abilities, including proficiency in statistical software like R or Python, to analyze financial data.8. Use software such as QuickBooks and Yardi for managing financial and budgetary records. Leverage familiarity with RealPage for real estate-specific financial/budgetary management.9. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local, state, and federal real estate and financial regulations in all financial reporting and analysis.10. Perform risk assessments and scenario analysis to ensure the organization's adherence to financial, budgetary and regulatory standards.11. Apply experience with various types of commercial real estate (multi-family, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use) in budgetary planning and analysis. Minimum Job Requirement • Master’s degree in accountancy or a related field. • Two-year accounting or budgetary experience in the commercial/residential real estate field with 1) financial analysis/viability for commercial/residential real estate projects, 2) financial modeling for cash flow projection for real estate assets, 3) risk assessments/statistical analysis for real estate investments, as an Accountant, Budget Analyst or in a related occupation.• Strong knowledge of R, Python, Tableau, Quickbook, Yardi, RealPage, GAAP, IFRS, and New York real estate & financial regulations.• Strong understanding of and experience with financial modeling using Excel (including three-statement projection, DCF, LBO, NPV/IRR valuation, capital raising, JV investing, credit structuring/underwriting, liquidity management).• Experience with different types of commercial real estate: multi-family, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use.Salary: $90,000/YearJob Type: 40 hrs, 5 days (Full-time)Please send resumes to Rony Kravel, Livingston Management Services, LLC, resumes@livingny.com.
