JPMorgan Chase Cash Asset Management - Central Bank Cash Lead WHEM, Vice President in New York, New York

Job summary

As a Vice President in the Cash Asset Management Central Bank Lead role, you will collaborate with Service Owners, Product Partners, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Investment Bank Treasury, and various JP Morgan business lines. Your role will involve managing and integrating central bank processes and responsibilities in a dynamic, deadline-promoten environment. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage economies of scale and streamline processes to reduce costs and pass savings onto our business partners.

Job responsibilities

  • Be accountable for end to end Central Bank Cash Service for Cash Asset Management (CAM) in Western Hemisphere Emerging Markets (WHEM) including resiliency planning - Cover for WHEM CAM lead when required including supporting global incidents

  • Support team on any other Ops requirements such as Broker Dealer and Cash Projections

  • Work with Service lead and Central Bank Cash zonal leads to achieve the Definition of good for Central Bank Cash and the alignment of WHEM Central Bank Cash

  • Demonstrate an ability to provide innovation solutions to problems whilst at the same time driving towards Global Standardization via the Definition of Good. Must be able to implement solutions that are not just WHEM specific but benefit the global Central Bank Cash service.

  • Achieve all regulatory change milestones and requirements.

  • Build and maintain a strong Network including external contacts such as Regulators and key internal Stakeholders

  • Support local product roll-outs, New Business Initiative Approval (NBIA)/Change Mgmt. process and local product requirements

  • Support LATAM expansion of products and services

  • Implement and maintain a robust Risk and Control environment so that Internal and External Audits, Exams and assurances are completed successfully

  • Develop and monitor Management Information System (MIS) reporting

  • Reviews current operational processes and implements improvements in line with global service catalogue

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Series 99 (requirement within 6 months of starting role)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A strong understanding of clearing / central bank cash and Cash Management
