JPMorgan Chase Credit Risk Management - Leveraged Finance Policy and Strategy Vice President in New York, New York

As a Vice President on the Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) Leveraged Finance team, you will work directly with Credit Officers in the WCR organization on the origination and monitoring of Committed Leveraged Finance and other exposures in the Wholesale Credit Portfolio. Our team is a part of the broader WCR Regulatory and Strategy group which manages the governance framework, policies, limits and thresholds and monitoring for the portfolio governed by the Interagency Leveraged Lending Guidelines and the Office of the Comptroller's Heightened Standards for Large Financial Institutions.
Job responsibilities
Manage the ongoing monitoring of the Leveraged Financing (LF), Heightened Standards (HS), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) portfolios including non-pass origination activity
Be the subject matter expert on the Firm's credit risk systems and policies and the lead contact on the Leveraged Financing and Heightened Standards risk policies in order to provide guidance to WCR teams and business colleagues on regulatory items related to Leveraged Financing, Heightened Standards and FDIC
Ongoing monitoring and governance of the Bank's Sponsor Portfolio and Direct Lending exposures
Lead implementation of various projects, policy changes and action plans identified to address new business and regulatory requirements around LF, HS, FDIC, Sponsors, Direct Lending etc. with a focus on streamlining and simplifying existing policies and processes across WCR
Manage relevant limits and thresholds framework including notional and stress limits to closely monitor activity and ensure strong governance and controls
Prepare presentation materials on LF/HS for firmwide and WCR senior management, respond to regulatory inquiries, prepare materials and respond to questions from senior management for quarterly JPMC earnings, and address other ad hoc business and regulatory requests
Work with technology, credit risk and other stakeholders to develop and project manage technology enhancements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of Credit Risk and/or Leveraged Finance experience
Ability to think holistically, creatively, critically and independently
Strong project management skills and ability to build effective working relationships across LOBs and functions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
