JPMorgan Chase Customer Analytics - Data Scientist Lead in New York, New York
Be a key component in building a comprehensive understanding of Chase customers and their behaviors that will drive business growth.
As a Data Scientist Lead, in our Customer Analytics Team, you will be responsible for comprehending the needs of Chase customers and generating valuable insights.
Job Responsibilities:
Synthesize analytical findings for senior business executives in written and verbal formats and influence decisions that impact Chase customers
Plan, execute, and deliver customer-centric analytical projects, including strategic analyses to serve a variety of segment-focused use cases (e.g., marketing, servicing, personalization) and segment-level dashboards that inform executives on critical KPIs
Work hands-on with various data assets (via SQL) to answer business questions, describe customer archetypes, financial needs and behaviors
Become a trusted partner and thought leader on customer data and analytics techniques
Develop a strong team environment with junior team members, built on respect and cooperation
Define metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights based on data
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
6+ years of hands on experience in data and analytics, or related consulting in consumer financial services, with a proven record of high performance; Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field
Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, etc
Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management.
Familiarity working in cloud based environments and developing production level code to execute applications.
Experience with relational databases and query optimization to pull and summarize large datasets with focus on efficiency
Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: Alteryx, Python, Snowflake, Tableau
Functional industry experience in banking, finance, marketing, credit/risk, technology
Master's degree in related field
