Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in New York, New York
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the Asset Management industry. Based in New York, this role involves providing technical support and managing IT-related issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and manage requests for remote hardware like keyboards or docks.
• Handle the configuration and shipment of requested items.
• Oversee the reclamation and processing of hardware from terminated users.
• Execute workstation setups, including the deployment of docking stations and peripherals to users.
• Pre-image, patch, and verify laptops, preparing them for immediate use.
• Manage the deployment of webcams and other peripherals for users returning to the office.
• Utilize skills in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and various operating systems like Mac OS, Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 10.
• Perform upgrades and maintain hardware assets efficiently.
• Utilize knowledge in imaging devices and asset management to enhance system performance.
• Maintain an organized tracking of all tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Experience working with Active Directory
• Knowledge of Mac OS, Mac OS X, and Mac Computers
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows 7, and Microsoft Windows 8
• Understanding of Asset Management principles
• Familiarity with Imaging Devices
• Ability to perform Hardware Upgrades
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
