As Director, Product Mangement you will be responsible for a team of product managers leading the strategy and roadmap for recently launched products and new products to support company growth and scalability. You will work cross functionally with Clinical, Member and Provider Services, Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales as well as peers and leaders within the product and engineering teams.

What you will do...

  • Own the strategy, roadmap and business requirements for recently launched and new products
  • Manage and coach a team of Product Managers
  • Monitor products in market; manage key performance indicators and outcomes
  • Partner with Product Strategy on definition of new products
  • Ensure clinical aspects of products align with regulatory and compliance guidelines
  • Ensure clinical aspects of Performance Guarantees are achievable
  • Define and prioritize investment based on business need and customer impact
  • Build a deep understanding of our members, clients, partners and propose solutions that meet their needs and company objectives
  • Secure and manage external resourcing for clinical specialties/subspecialties expertise for program development.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable sales
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to effectively operationalize all aspects of new product lines.
  • Collaborate across product to align on investment needed to support product lines ensuring a high-quality client, partner, provider and member experience.
  • Partner with Data/Business Strategy and Analytics team to analyze operational performance of product lines and identify areas of investment

About you...

  • 8+ years of experience in product/program management in healthcare. Preferably in family building & woman's healthcare focused on driving proven clinical outcomes; clinician background highly desirable
  • Minimum 4 years of people management through coaching and mentorship.
  • Proven contribution to product success through 2+ successful clinical programs launched to market that include services, technology and provider partners
  • Experience building and managing solutions that lead to proven patient outcomes
  • Experience with integrating regulatory guidelines into creation of hospital/clinic SOPs
  • Experience managing by influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive, natural problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering to design operational and technical processes to meet required investment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage large projects cross functionally
  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive trade-offs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Must be driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others
  • Experience with product, design and project management tools such as ProductBoard, Jira, Figma as well as Microsoft products.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $150,000 - $165,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
