DIRECTOR - QUANTITATIVE FINANCERetired or other part-time Ph.D. sought for role in advancing and developing statistical models for predicting price movements of stocks and related options.Appropriate candidate will with our staff develop selection and valuation models and present our ideas to major institutional clients.Qualifications include a Ph.D. as well as strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex, technical ideas into easily understood English. Experience with portfolio management software is a plus.Retired professors with a history of teaching college level courses in statistics, financial economics, mathematics and other fields relevant to investing are welcome.This Manhattan based opportunity is a part-time position with the opportunity to work remotely.Other duties will include:Working with the Chief Executive Officer and other senior executives to make presentations to large institutional clients and prospective clients.Using internal databases and external sources to conduct research experiments. Familiarity with Factset, and SAS python software, are pluses.Salary range part-time $60,000.
