The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Sales leads a team of multi-category National Account Managers to achieve sales goals of assigned EssilorLuxottica National Account customers. The Director is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, planning, and executing a comprehensive business strategy that develops deep partnerships and customer solutions across large, complex customers. The Director leads the team in attaining monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, develops strategic initiatives and top to top strategic business relationships with customers and provides input on all strategic sales plans and their implementation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive National Account Managers sales team to achieve top and bottom-line performance objectives as well as portfolio management and strategic initiatives.
  • Strategize on business development opportunities based on competitive landscape.
  • Build strong relationships with senior level management leaders across the customers in their perimeter.
  • Lead and facilitate development of account management plans to drive long term growth and partnerships
  • Develop multi-channel solutions to drive customer sell through.
  • Lead their team in identifying, customizing, and optimizing specific brand and product opportunities for their customer.
  • Strategize with the Product and Marketing teams to develop 360-degree marketing plans to support customer base.
  • Build bottoms up business plans and execute sales strategies through effectively managing Key Account Managers team.
  • Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups.
  • Develop processes to expedite change and efficiencies throughout their business scope.
  • Facilitate partnership between their sales team and internal departments to drive business and strategies for their scope of business.
  • Support career development of their National Account Manager sales team through ongoing coaching and developmental opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 10+ years of experience in managing high-volume national customers and direct account manager sales team
  • Results oriented with strong strategic sales approach
  • Negotiation skills; persuasive
  • Strong knowledge of business analytics, sales presentation preparation, and sales delivery
  • Successful track record in pro-actively leading and directing the work of others
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Strong experience in positions or assignments with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Ability to multi-task, high prioritization skills, and good communication both written and verbal
  • Proficient in all Windows applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Domestic and international travel up to 30% of time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Range: 158,441.63-236,834.83

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
