Field Merchandise Coordinator (Atlanta) - Tommy Hilfiger

The role of the Field Merchandise Coordinator is to drive service and top line sales growth within their assigned doors. This is accomplished through elevated shop presentation standards, implementing wholesale initiatives, training and developing the vendor paid teams and through regular visits within their territory. They will build deep relationships with our business partners, provide consistent feedback and recruit and develop top talent. The ideal candidate will be based in the Atlanta, GA area.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategies – 40 %

  • Drive Sales to increase TH Businesses

  • Goal to achieve / exceed TH provided sales plans weekly, monthly, seasonally

  • Review and recap sales data weekly, monthly, seasonally to determine door and product performance, through the understanding of retail math terminology

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the financial goals and product initiatives for covered TH brands

  • Work with direct manager to develop business driving strategies through in store sales contests, creative merchandising, etc.

  • Assist in calling out noticed challenges and opportunities

  • Assist customers within Tommy Hilfiger Shop

Merchandising / Store Presentation – 30%

  • Visit stores as directed within rotation ensuring visit requirements are met based on corporate initiatives

  • Merchandise product to ensure optimum merchandising and presentation on sales floor, and maintain Brand visual standards with the use of tools provided by corporate management

  • Ensure that all styles are out on the floor, and larger programs are in a frontal location per the store directive

  • Through working with direct manager, negotiate / secure key floor placement, signage and visual improvements

  • Partner with the store management to make sure all current markdowns are set and signed properly

  • Be aware of in store sales events and promotional pricing for event

Communication / Feedback – 15%

  • Provide feedback to direct manager weekly on the following: Style selling summary on product sales performance; Size outs, customer requests, competition, and product quality; Success of product locations on floor; Stock issues; Loss of space, or any shop moves; Any unforeseen opportunities or misses; Partner with Store Management and direct manager to capitalize on successes and resolve outstanding issues; Provide photos of new deliveries, sale events, new product launches with weekly reports for each store visited; Provide monthly schedule to direct manager

Training and Development/Relationship Building – 15%

  • Train and develop the vendor paid team by using tools and directives from direct manager, director, SVP of Sales, and Creative Service Team

  • Build & Develop new tools for the field team to be used on a monthly, seasonal, or yearly basis

  • Develop partnership with store management and sales associates. Consistently relay new product information and features

  • Work with direct manager, sales team(s) and Field Merchandisers to conduct in-store seminars within rotation, district, and region for ongoing training and motivation for store personnel. Develop new tools for seminars to be used by the field team

  • Work with direct manager to reward and share in store successes

Qualifications:

  • College degree, preferred

  • 3-5+ years retail experience

  • 3-5+ Years Visual Merchandising experience required

  • 1-3 years management experience

  • 1-3 years training experience

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability train and motivate others

  • Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to others applying a variety of training, role playing and mentoring techniques

  • Strong ability to translate training strategies into actionable execution plans

  • Strong presentation and speaking skills

  • Sophisticated verbal, written and nonverbal communication skills

  • Strong organization skills

  • Strong merchandising skills

  • Strong digital literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook)Basic retail math

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects given by direct report, director, creative department and/or sale team(s)

  • Build procedures, training guides and/or processes that will help develop the merchandise handler team

  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing business needs and able to change schedule on a moment’s notice

  • 85% Travel within one’s territory, and as determined by manager to meet the needs of the business

  • Work on feet all day, move fixtures, lift boxes and product

  • Select Weekends and evening shifts will be required based on business needs as directed by line manager

Pay Range:$55,600 - $65,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
