Robert Half Financial Project Manager in New York, New York

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Project Manager in the bustling city of New York. This role is centered within the finance industry, where you will be primarily tasked with managing accounting software systems, ADP - Financial Services, Business systems, Concur, and CRM.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of accounting software systems to streamline financial operations.

• Oversee ADP - Financial Services to ensure smooth financial processes.

• Conduct regular system checks and updates on business systems to ensure optimal functionality.

• Expertly handle Concur, managing expenses and travel reports.

• Manage CRM to ensure effective customer relationship management.

• Monitor financial project progress, identify potential risks, and devise mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

• Continuously assess and optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project status and financial health.

• Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the financial project lifecycle. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

• Demonstrated work experience as a Financial Project Manager or similar role.

• Proficiency in financial management software, specifically Concur.

• Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and risk management.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage large and complex projects.

• Strong leadership skills with a commitment to driving and achieving results.

• Knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, and workflows.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.

• Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.

• Detail oriented certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus.
