Chanel, Inc. Group Director, Fragrance Marketing in New York, New York

U.S. fragrance 360 strategy & execution. In-depth market analysis to identify successful business drivers in order to influence go-to-market brief & strategy plan. Partner with cross- functional teams including Media, Creative, E-Commerce, PR & Sales to establish business objectives. Manage retail projections by franchise and liaise with Demand Planning team to ensure inventory levels are sufficient for U.S. market needs and adequate to promotional activities. Manage events/animation briefing & creation process to ensure premium in-store client experience. Manage e-retail programming and budget aligned with POS priorities. Manage promotional budget & allocation of spend with goal of overall profitability. Oversee process for all new launches and seamless launch execution. Participate and present in retailer & sales meetings. Regularly engage with emerging trends (e.g., communication, distribution, service) and proactively pursue test and create more agility. Participate in preparation of international meetings and lead priority project task forces as necessary.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Management, or closely related field and three (3) years of experience working as manager or similar in marketing with a luxury, beauty, or cosmetics brand with a global presence. Experience must include: Successfully launching new products; developing strategic marketing plans based on consumer data; creating go-to-market testing; developing and executing business analytics to determine brand status and growth opportunities; collecting and analyzing market data to identify business performance; developing and executing 360 marketing campaigns; creating presentations for managers and executives; and using MS Excel and PowerPoint.Location: Chanel, Inc. at 9 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019. Salary: $157,040 to $165,000
