Credit Suisse Internal Auditor in New York, New York

Work on audits and assurance review and provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions in response to identified issues. Analyze and assess risks arising from both the business and support functions (Non-Core Legacy, Credit, Cash Equity, Capital Market, and Compliance). Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls designed to address risks. Document and communicate audit review issues, root causes and risks, and prepare reports of audit review findings for senior management. Develop recommendations for items that solution owners should consider when finalizing their action plans. Review remediation actions submitted by the business for closure to assess whether original risks have been addressed. Complete quarterly continuous risk assessments of auditable areas. Keep up with industry and regulatory developments and learn new audit concepts and methods. Apply knowledge of auditing financial statements; banking and wealth management operations and regulations (Credit, Cash Equity, Capital Market, and Compliance); and, compliance and risk management support.Requirements: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study, plus two (2) years of experience with auditing financial statements; banking or wealth management operations and regulations (Credit, Cash Equity, Capital Market, or Compliance); and/or, compliance and risk management support.The salary range is $90,979 - $117,000 annually, based on various factors such as experience, education, skills, internal and external market data, etc.
