JPMorgan Chase Internal Communication Manager, Dining and Shopping Vice President in New York, New York

Join us as the Internal Communications Manager Dining & Shopping Vice President within Consumer & Community Banking Communications where you will be a member of a high-performing team that communicates with honesty, authenticity and empathy. You will report to the Head of Internal Communications for Travel, Dining, and Shopping within Connected Commerce. Connected Commerce is a new and innovative line of business, dynamically designed to expand Chase's business ventures beyond core financial services.

As an Internal Communications Manager within the Dining & Shopping Vice President team, you will be responsible for providing executive guidance and communications support to two of Chase's rapidly expanding businesses. Your role will involve leading internal communications and strategy, fostering employee engagement, enhancing a sense of belonging within Chase, and bolstering the organization's visibility among the firm's approximately 300,000 employees.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide direct communications support and act as a trusted advisor and counselor to senior executives on the Offers & Shopping and Chase Dining leadership teams.

  • Create and implement strategic internal communications plans in support of key initiatives including brand launches, announcements, articles and stories around key moments, events, data & insights, executive visibility and general brand building activities to lead awareness across the firm.

  • Track measurements of success; develop and manage communications tactics and channels as needed to support the strategy.

  • Develop and deliver content and messaging for employees (via intranet, email, collateral, video, talking points, articles, blogs, town halls, social media, etc.) consistent with objectives related to CCB Communications' vision, values and objectives.

  • Deliver clear and concise audience-first communications through periods of rapid change.

  • Collaborate, be a great partner and teammate on the Card & Connected Commerce Communications team, and contribute to the team's wider communications.

  • Find, tell and share great stories with a human connection.

  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to implement innovation, new ideas and better ways of communicating; identify areas of efficiency and ways to execute these responsibilities more simply and effectively.

  • Lead special projects as assigned and be a great partner and teammate

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building in digital retail, technology, financial services or similar fields.

  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree

  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies; organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines.

  • Experience and comfort working with C-suite executives; a creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with, teams, internal stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company

  • High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility

  • Strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications

  • Solid knowledge of JPMC's business model, organization structure and performance metrics

  • Experience with Intranet design, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools as well as experience in digital journalism, social media, digital content

  • Unwavering commitment to always doing the right thing

  • Team player who willingly collaborates and contributes on both the strategic and the tactical; strong project management skills with ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects against both tight and rolling deadlines
