Zurich North America is hiring an IPZ Services Manager, Property (Sr. OR AVP level) to join our international operations team at our office in New York.

This role will be filled at either the Sr. IPZ Services Manager or the AVP, IPZ Services Manager. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

As a member of Zurich’s international programs services management team you will have the opportunity to manage a high performing international services team specializing in Property lines of business, to aid in ensuring appropriate international program business service delivery. Specifically, you will plan and deliver international services to customers and brokers to achieve a positive customer experience, drive projects/improvements/efficiencies, help the team to absorb and sustain changes. You will have direct access to Large Property underwriting leaders at Zurich and ensure that we can deliver their ever-changing international business needs for customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a team of international service specialists and consultants implementing international large Property, end to end and as the point of contact for customers and underwriting leadership.

• Collaborating with underwriters to provide solution options to international programs, prospects, and renewal.

• Providing leadership and gather/articulate US customer needs related to external International applications.

• Providing oversight and leading key check point processes for international teams.

• Coordinating relevant agenda, communications, and discussion points for regional meetings.

Basic qualifications, SR. Level:

• Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Underwriting areaOR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area

OR

Basic qualifications, AVP Level:

• Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Operations areaOR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Operations area

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree

• Advanced knowledge of commercial Property insurance line of business

• Supervisory or management experience

• Ability to manage and build rapport with team

• Excellent organizational, written, oral communication and presentation skills

• Strong operations excellence, problem solving and change management

• Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory guidelines

• Advanced skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and win-win negotiation

• Strong presentation skills and a solutions and service orientation

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.The combined salary range for this position is $83,700.00 - $181,400.00. The starting salary range for the Senior is $83,700.00 - $137,100.00 and for the AVP is $110,700.00 - $181,400.00.
