The Talent Management manager role is critical member of NBCUniversal enterprise-wide Global Talent Development team, responsible for designing and implementing NBCUniversal’s talent development and learning strategy at all levels of the organization, enterprise-wide talent practices and processes, and our all-employee diversity, equity and inclusion learning approach designed to power an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.

At the core of this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external partners to create and implement the tools, processes and practices that help support and manage the incredible talent across our vast portfolio of NBCUniversal businesses.  

  • Gain a deep understanding of the NBCUniversal business and employee population, balancing best practices and pragmatism to build processes and practices that align with NBCUniversal’s culture.

  • Play an important part in ensuring that talent and leaders throughout the company are engaged and proud to work at NBCUniversal.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the employee life cycle with research, data analytics, and key insights to drive best in class talent and learning practices here at NBCUniversal

  • Help power the execution of global talent management (e.g. performance feedback, talent reviews/succession planning, mentorship programs, employee listening/surveys) 

  • Work closely across the Talent Management and HR organization to help design, implement and train stakeholders on those key talent processes

  • Manage our growing set of global talent data from our Talent Lab suite of experiences, including the talent identification and nomination process

  • Collaborate with HR generalists, Business OD professionals, HR Operations, and Corporate Communications on additional Talent Management needs

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in Talent Management, Organizational Development, HR or related fields

  • Experience with Human Resource/HRIS systems (e.g., Success Factors, Workday)

  • Experience with HR analytics and reporting, with introductory knowledge of visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and other business-related data analysis strategies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, and proficiency in Excel and Word 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field

  • You have familiarity with the latest digital tools, such as Articulate Rise, SharePoint, and Campaign Monitor.    

  • You have a designer’s eye and have introductory knowledge of publishing/design tools (e.g. InDesign)

  • Project and Process minded – Able to juggle multiple tasks with multiple deliverables

  • Creatively Curious  – You like researching new approaches that help keep us in the know and ahead of the curve

  • Resourceful – If you don’t have the answer (and we don’t know) you will help figure it out. You’re comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain info and seek buy-in

  • You see the Big Picture and want to understand + drive the larger Talent Management/ Org Development strategy

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
