KPMG LLP, Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), New York, NY. Interacting with hedge fund, private equity, venture capital, and limited partner investment and finance officers on the valuation of investments. Preparing valuations for closely held or publicly traded companies with a focus on the alternative investment space. Managing staff in the preparation of valuations for closely held or publicly traded companies with a focus on the alternative investment space. Working with financial models including diverse valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparable, transaction comparable, and allocation models. Performing analyses on financial and economic data, subject companies, guideline companies, industries and markets, and other types of fund and investment analysis. The salary range is $173,555 - $215,700 per year.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Bloomberg or Capital IQ; utilizing discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparable, transaction comparable and allocation models; and investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, valuation, financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, fixed income or capital markets.Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 20% is required.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 113241 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
