Key Roles and Responsibilities:
In this highly visible role, you will work across the Business Units and the Marketing & Growth Organization along with our outside vendors and agencies to drive operational efficiencies that result in faster time to market and higher quality product all while driving savings.
In addition, you will also be responsible for implementing governance practices around roster management and overseeing agency and vendor performance against established KPIs to best optimize business relationships, with the end goal of driving marketing excellence for AT&T.
You will be responsible for:
Agency/Vendor Management Platform
Oversee the implementation of an Agency/Vendor Management platform to more effectively manage end to end workflows from order creation to client satisfaction. In addition, provide better visibility into vendor/agency capabilities including but not limited to – Preferred agency roster, agency specialty, performance rating, work examples, etc.
Work cross functionally with inside/outside partners to create platform requirements and needs
Assess in house vs external capabilities utilizing careful analysis of benefits related to financial considerations and speed to market
Managing platform selection process from RFI/RFP to selection in collaboration with marketing leads.
Manage project timelines and budget oversight
Experience managing vendors and agencies of relationships
Procurement and agency management expertise
Operational governance managing Agency/Vendor relationships that include both the operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance improvement, and operations strategy.
2+ years of direct experience in managing vendors and vendor selection at large organizations
2+ years of direct experience in consumer and/or business facing marketing organizations
Experience with marketing work-flow and agency management tools
Experience working in collaboration with procurement and legal teams
Experience in creating and governing end to end process related to vendor/agency selection, onboarding, and ongoing management
Establish process to track and manage agency success KPI’s, Quarterly Business Reviews, budger and spend by BU, and assess overall relationships
Executive presence to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree preferred.
Typically requires 2+ years of experience in an advertising, digital strategy, account planning, or marketing role within a consultancy, agency, or marketing-driven organization.
