The Browning School Middle and Upper Science Teacher in New York, New York
Will teach 5th-grade science, 8th-grade Physical Science, and 9th-grade Biology. Develop and implement an inspiring curriculum in conjunction with department members. Create strong relationships with students built on Browning’s core values of honesty, dignity, curiosity, and purpose. Participate in professional development to grow the self, department, and school. Provide a range of instructional, management, and assessment strategies to meet the different needs of students. Participate in creating, revising, administering, and grading assessments. Keep accurate and organized records of student information. Provide tutoring to small student groups as required. Collaborate with colleagues across content areas and grade levels. Conduct parent-teacher conferences as needed, as well as ongoing parent communication.Must have 2 years exp. teaching science to student in middle school and/or high school.Must have a Masters in Teacher Education in Science
