Marsh USA Inc. is seeking candidates for the following position based in the New York, NY:


Placement Specialist



We will count on you to:



Provide support to help clients coordinate E&O and Cyber Risk solutions, manage insurance placement, and advice on cyber risk trends. Ensure questions and issues are addressed efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolve and oversee client issues surrounding consulting, contract reviews, E&O and Cyber risk trends, Marsh Cyber risk solutions and proprietary products. Utilize the expertise of the E&O and Cyber risk industry and insurers to develop placement solutions that meet client needs. Facilitate submission of coverage specifications to obtain quotes from insurers. Carry out advisory and placement tasks, including the procurement of insurance, checking documentation for accuracy, and binding contracts. Create and maintain internal and external relationships within the FINPRO practice, insurance markets, and key client stakeholders to provide cohesive client service. Advise clients on the changing insurance landscape, risk management market conditions and major developments affecting various types of products and coverage. Interface closely with team members to support client retention and new business production. Drive senior placement and technical support activities on assigned accounts, such as ensuring procedural compliance, reviewing data, updating annual renewal exhibits, and maintaining accurate placement system entries to ensure contract execution as required. Advise management of critical issues and trends through clear and concise communication. Participate in development of solutions to grow the business and enhance the client experience.



What you need to have:



Must have a Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent in Business or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as an Assistant Vice President, Broker, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience: Implementing go-to market strategies; Identifying and advising clients on solutions for E&O, Media and Cyber risks; Tailoring policy language for client specific risks; Advocating for clients through E&O, Media and Cyber claims; Running risk workshops; Developing new insurance products and policy forms; Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key insurers, internal stakeholders, and clients as a trusted E&O, Media and Cyber Advisor; and Working with E&O, Media and Cyber insurance markets and insurance forms. The employer will accept 2 years of work experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement. 25% national and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
