ConEdison Planner Field Technical Specialist, Customer Energy Solutions in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and at least five years relevant work experience in Meter & Test or similar area or
High School Diploma/GED and at least ten years relevant work experience in Meter & Test or similar area.
Relevant Work Experience
Working knowledge of Meter Engineering specifications and procedures, required.
Technical proficiency in Meter & Test discipline, required.
Working knowledge of in-house computer software such as Intellihub, ProField Encore, MAMS, and CC&B, preferred.
Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, required.
Needs to have excellent time management, leadership and communication skills, required.
Strong analytical skills, required.
Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments, required.
Work experience in Meter & Test, or similar, required.
Experience with Meter Shop, Electric Operations/Construction, and/or Work Resource Management applications, preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interface with Company forces, contractors, executives and engineers, required.
Must have supervisory experience of union and/or contractor workforce, required.
Must be organized and able to handle multiple job assignments with changing priorities, required.
Licenses And Certfications
- Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed
Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays and various shifts
Medical approval for respirator fit preferred
Ability to walk, drive, climb and bend for prolonged durations
Ability to work outdoors under a variety of weather conditions
