(3) Understanding the mechanisms that suppress the accumulation of chromosome rearrangements. The successful candidate is expected to take the lead role in projects, present data at lab meetings and conferences, to publish manuscripts as a lead author, and to contribute to supervising students and support staff. We seek a scientist who is able to work independently and who demonstrates critical thinking and scientific rigor.
