Job Description: Job Description - Project Coordinator The Trade Marketing department of The Trust team is responsible for The Wall Street Journal Barron's Group internal and external comms, partnerships, and Trade Marketing strategy across all industry verticals. Our mission is to drive revenue for The Wall Street Journal | Barron's Group by developing meaningful partnerships and ensuring that our products and people are visible and credible. Responsibilities The Project Coordinator, Trade Marketing will be responsible for supporting administration and coordination of the overall department functions. Key areas of concentration include:
- Coordination and support for trade marketing thought leadership programs, including email marketing newsletters, and client and internal awards programs.
- Tracking and support for partnership programs, including barter partnerships (setting up campaigns, adding barters to the RiskCenter, researching new partners etc.), campaign coordination for barter programs, and vendor partnerships.
- Overall support for client retention, including the C-Suite Council ads, mailings, ordering and mailing inventory of premiums, assisting with client gift programs, helping to manage our list of High Value Customers, and assisting with client entertainment distribution.
- Intelligence program support: Work with the Intelligence team to put together research web pages.
- Event support and coordination, such as ticket tracking, list compilation, mailings, RSVP tracking, and invoice processing.
- Admin support, including scheduling, calendar management, travel, expenses, helping with invoicing.
- 1-2 years years marketing/PR/writing experience (preferred)
- A propensity for action (Learn, Do, Share), whether it be (knowledge, ideas, etc.); out-of-the-box thinking and creativity; an eye for detail and knack for storytelling
- The ability to multitask and prioritize
- Extremely detail oriented
- Coordination of meetings with senior-level stakeholders
- Proficiency with G-Suite & Microsoft Office, and the ability to grasp email marketing and web based applications quickly.
- A shrewd eye for data, analysis and insights (intermediate Excel/Sheets skills)
- A positive attitude and an open mind
- Comfortable working in highly-matrixed organizations
