FirstService Residential Project Coordinator in New York, New York

Job Overview:

As Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Project Manager and team members to develop project plans, timelines, and

budgets for our clientele.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project manager and team members to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project meetings and ensure that all relevant parties are informed of project activities.
  • Monitor project risks and issues and develop plans to mitigate or resolve them.
  • Support the project manager in managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Ensure that all project activities are in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage project resources and ensure that they are utilized effectively and efficiently.
  • Schedule and perform buyer inspection walkthrough of residential units.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report detailing the findings of the apartment inspection.
  • Ability to work independently to meet concrete deadlines and time frames.
  • Must possess good people skills, excellent communication skills, and be self-managed.
  • Possess an acute attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of construction terminologies, a plus but not necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in project/construction management.
  • Understanding of NYC department of building codes and permitting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of building electrical and mechanical laws and codes.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Project, is a must.
  • Preferred Qualifications: PE License and or PMP.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:

$21.63 - $24.04 / hour
