Exciting Career Opportunities at MSK - Hiring: Multiple Openings for Revenue Cycle Specialists (Insurance/Claims)

We’re seeking Revenue Cycle Specialists I (Insurance/Claims) to join our Physician Billing Insurance and Hospital Billing Insurance teams at MSK. These roles involve reviewing, analyzing, following up, and resolving insurance balances on accounts, utilizing various techniques like web portals, calls, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and take action on accounts in line with departmental procedures

  • Resolve billing edits ensuring charges and claims are corrected and submitted timely

  • Follow up on insurance payments and resolve debit/credit balances

  • Address denials, payment delays, and claims issues

  • Support timely reimbursement through effective collection techniques

  • Participate in special projects and mentor team members

    Key Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience

  • Epic experience strongly preferred

  • Prior collections or insurance follow-up experience is preferred

    Core Skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving

  • Ability to analyze and resolve account issues

  • Self-motivated and collaborative

    Additional Information

  • Location : Hybrid (travel to NYC sites as needed)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

  • Pay Range: $25.65 - $38.42

  • Reporting to: Supervisor or Project Manager, Revenue Cycle

    Here is our hiring and onboarding timeline so you can prepare for key dates:

  • 10/6 - 10/28: Interviews

  • 10/28: All offers accepted

  • 10/28-11/22: Onboarding clearance

  • 11/25: Start date for all new Insurance hires
