S&P Global Market Intelligence, Inc. seeks a Sales Specialist, Credit & Risk Solutions Sales who will serve as a sales specialist responsible for growth of sales for our credit and risk solutions products via new business and existing client renewals. Build and execute a book of business along with a territory strategy, including maintaining stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. Track activities, pipeline, forecasting and assist in product development. Participate in both inbound leads and outbound sales efforts. Collaborate with business development representatives and marketing teams to execute outbound sales strategies. Stay current with industry news in order to develop marketing initiatives and create client events to attract prospects. Utilize sales enablement tools to create professional, tailored prospecting strategies.Travel: 20% domestic travel and approximately six (6) three-day international trips per year to attend client meetings and conferencesJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 5 years of experience must include: Selling to or interacting with credit and risk personas at global financial institutions; fixed income and credit markets, as well as regulatory requirements and guidelines for US and Canadian banks, including various regional climate risk solutions/frameworks; experience presenting product/sales demonstrations and negotiating commercial agreements for credit and risk solutions; and tracking sales activity and pipeline, developing strategic account plans to grow and retain business, forecasting future sales, and contributing to product development for credit risk solutions.The anticipated base salary range for this position is $226,762 to $258,600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
