Duties: The SAS/ETL Developer (Multiple Positions) at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will develop, maintain and automate ETL pipelines with SAS/SSIS applications for clients in the U.S. healthcare industry. Design database and schema to host live and historical data for seamless use of ETL jobs by multiple teams across department. Develop Tableau dashboards for data and trend visualization within Medicare Part-D PatientSafety vertical using different data sources. Collaborate with business leadership to gather business requirements and expectations for strategic alignment of future projects. Rewrite existing SAS code into Python 3.x and SSIS for the purpose of migration of on-prem jobs/business-rules to GCP and Azure cloud platforms. Responsible for testing and documentation of all deliverables. Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) pipeline using enterprise level Dev-Ops tools. Manage change requests in coordination with change management and IT stakeholders to deploy production changes. Conduct Year-End review of PatientSafety processes and supporting data-sources and update for Day-1 Readiness of next year. Guide team on best practices for optimization of SAS/SSIS/SQL codes and standard convention for maintenance of database objects. Telecommuting permitted. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in electronics/electrical engineering or a computer/IT related field plus 5 years of professional data engineering experience in the US healthcare or insurance industry. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Design, Testing and Implementation of database objects including writing stored procedures, UDFs, queries in SQL Server, DB2 or Teradata; (2) Data transformation and building ETL tools utilizing various connections including Database and Datawarehouse; (3) Object-oriented programming, including C# and Python 3.x; (4) Task Automation utilizing Excel Macros (VBA) or RPA tools; (5) Version Control, including Github; (6) CI/CD tools, including Jenkin, Teamcity and Octopus; (7) Life-cycle Management of Change Requests and Incident tickets using ticketing tools, including ServiceNow.Send resume and cover letter to us.careers@exlservice.com.
