Job Description

We are seeking aSenior Compliance Analystto join our Corporate Compliance Department. This is a vital role for a dynamic team.

We Are:The Corporate Compliance Department is committed to supporting staff in their efforts to comply with relevant laws and regulations and understand the application of internal policies and procedures.

You Will:

  • Work with the Billing Compliance Manager and Director to ensure compliance with third party regulations through collaboration with staff from Patient Accounts, PBD, HIM and appropriate ancillary departments.

  • Analyze Clinical and Ancillary Departmental Compliance Monitoring Reports to identify issues, patterns or trends.

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of CMS and other billing regulations.

  • Conduct non- coding audits in accordance with the Compliance Workplan.

  • Be responsible for special projects involving data analytics, risk assessment and investigations as needed.

    You Need:

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years experience in health care billing, corporate compliance or hospital operations

  • 8 years or more relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree

  • JD a plus

  • Health care coding experience desirable

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Ability to lead, excellent communication/writing skills

  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing helpful
