Job Description Summary

The Senior Director Technical Services will lead and drive the delivery of our technical services program, including mobile engineering, asset planning, maintenance and repair for a dispersed portfolio within our Global Occupier Services business. Responsibilities also include MSA compliance, adherence to business plan, budgetary control, capital planning and oversight of the daily management and operational activities associated with the portfolio.

Job Description

  • Lead coordination, delivery, and quality assurance of engineering and maintenance services including adherence to the client's real estate standards of performance across C&W client accounts nationwide.
  • Work as subject matter expert alongside Business Development and Solutions teams to identify opportunities and design functional IFM/Technical Services organizations according to potential client needs.
  • Work closely with account teams to develop and optimize staffing solutions, standard operating procedures, maintenance schedules, and establish standardized governance procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery at the account level.
  • Lead the Mobile Facilities Solutions and Asset Management service offerings, focusing on optimizing project pipelines, ensuring accurate client deliverables, building out robust data and analytics platforms, and managing day to day completion of field collection events annually. Ensure SLA's & KPI's are achieved and aligned with contractual agreements.
  • Product lead for Fulcrum implementation, designing & creating applications, establishing standard practice around data capture, quality assurance/control, scheduling, and client communications.
  • Manage the development and growth of our mobile facility solutions business, leveraging data to look strategically at placement of MFS technicians as they relate to incoming or ongoing client work, maximizing utilization rates and minimizing down time.
  • Develop and implement recruiting and talent acquisition strategies, specifically focusing on military recruitment and skilled labor development for C&W's mobile engineering, asset management, and technical services programs. Provide leadership and, coaching, as well as direct support where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward of talent across the technical services organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal leadership driving the operational and strategic goals of the company and specific client accounts.
  • Ensure operation is staffed by appropriately skilled personnel and teams, taking direct responsibility for the appointment of qualified personnel and an effective succession planning
  • Drive continuous improvement philosophy and culture throughout the organization
  • Comply with legislative, environmental, health and safety requirements

  • Manage the client's assets in the most profitable and/or cost-effective manner and consistent with the management contract and account plan for each property
  • Develop and maintain technical proficiency, industry knowledge and communication skills to provide timely information on all property-specific issues as well as keeping the client informed of important developments and trends in the property and facility management industry
  • Promote and adhere to all established policies and procedures relative to standard assignment deliverables, business conduct and integrity while ensuring on-going quality management of all C&W's Technical Services offering
  • Ensure that all matters/issues pertaining to human resources, legal and risk management are coordinated and resolved appropriately
  • Oversee the budget preparation and development process, capital planning, cash flow management and production of monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness for Mobile Facilities Solutions business
  • Seize opportunities to expand C&W's commercial relationship through the delivery of value added services

IMPORTANT EDUCATION* Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Corporate Real Estate, required
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE* Minimum of 10 years of facility management, , with at least 6 years at the Manager/Director level
* Broad commercial real estate and financial background with relevant experience as portfolio/asset manager with expertise in all facets of facility/property operation and management, people management, vendor management, and capital planning
* Experience with human resource and performance management processes
* Experience with critical system environments is preferred
* CMMS/Work Order Management experience required
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS* Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Association (FMA), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designation preferred
* Strong discipline of financial management including financial tracking, budgeting and forecasting
* Ability to identify service delivery and portfolio management improvement opportunities and keen on developing recommendations that highlight the value added benefit of the outsourcing partnership
* Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring
* Excellent computer and systems knowledge; Strong literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel up to 20% may be required.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $187,000.00 - $220,000.00
