Amazon Senior Finance Analyst, North America Supply Chain FP&A in New York, New York

Amazon's North America Supply Chain organization is committed to enhancing the customer experience by delivering comprehensive solutions for Global Customer Fulfillment. Our focus is on the effective and efficient movement of products through our supply chain, enabled by simple, scalable, and locally relevant strategies and technologies. In this dynamic role, the Supply Chain FP&A Analyst will be pivotal in supporting Amazon's supply chain by providing strategic financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The role requires a deep dive into financial data across all operational pillars of the Global Supply Chain, including S&OP, Capacity Planning, Innovations, and more. The aim is to ensure consistent processes and accurate financial representation of the organization’s operations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Facilitate financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for headcount, operating expenses, and financial entitlements within NASC

  • Simplifying and automating processes and reports within NASC

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to facilitate achieving goals established by finance and business leadership

  • Delivering key insights as a highly trusted resource for information about our financial data, processes, and the business operations we support

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

  • 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
