Responsibilities
Participate as a member of a cross-functional team focused on development and adoption of the web platform that will become widely used across company websites within a complex infrastructure and tech landscape
Perform activities like platform development, extension, re-architecture, performance optimization, integration if internal and 3rd party components, as well as platform adoption to new web products
Collaborate with many engineers working on the same codebase and proactively contribute to teams activities in agile environment on the daily basis
Communicate daily with client regarding project progress
Have strong communication skills and be proactive
Requirements
Highly skilled in Javascript, Node.js, Next.js, React
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Experience in AWS cloud environment is preferred including the following: CloudFront, S3, EC2, Lambda, ELB
Proven background in fullstack web development
Knowledge of GraphQL, styled components (emotion styled) and Redis
Understanding of Monorepo
Good troubleshooting skills, experience in performance optimization, DevTools, etc
Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development, architecture, cloud computing, CI/CD
Client is looking for a candidate in who is either located in NYC or ready to relocate and able to visit NYC office 2-3 days a week
