Job Description
Insight Global is seeking out a Senior JavaScript Engineering Manager to sit hybrid in New York City 3 days a week on site for a large streaming service. Specifically, the Video Player Technology team is looking for an exceptional leader to improve and evolve their video playback efforts and practices, and brainstorm the future of streaming video technology. The primary focus will be building highly functional teams with a great focus on scalable development practices in the JavaScript world. This is an excellent opportunity to influence the development of the solution that powers well-renowned brands. Together, the goal is to shape engineering culture, solve process problems, and create an extraordinary environment that brings productivity and team velocity to the next level. By being part of building a premium streaming service they are going to solve the challenge of support for a very wide range of video streaming-capable devices.
Pay range: 85-95/hr

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves
* 3-4 years+ years of experience in technology roles with hands-in engineering experience
* 3+ years in a leadership role in OTT or similar video-related space
* Demonstrated experience in evaluating technological requirements to make informed and strategic decisions
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating order and structure for a team
* Advanced knowledge with JavaScript and application development
* Experience building SDK solutions and serve internal clients
* Familiar with video technology and hardware capabilities
Willingness to travel in North America and Europe for work-related activities -video technology experience null
