Collaborate with a cross functional agile team spanning data scientist, data engineering, product management, and business experts to build new product features. Prototype new approaches and productionize solutions at scale for our hundreds of millions of active users. Help drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve quality. Be part of an active group of machine learning practitioners in Spotify. Mentor more junior members of the team on mathematical modeling and ML best practices. *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.Job requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role; OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: machine learning, mathematical modeling, and statistics; implementing production machine learning systems at scale in Python; data modeling; TensorFlow/Keras and Scikit-Learn; SQL; Big Data platforms such as BigQuery, Redshift, Hive/Hadoop, or Snowflake; and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Must have two (2) years of experience with: machine learning pipeline orchestration such as Airflow or Kubeflow; and Agile software processes. Must have one (1) year of experience with Apache Spark/Spark ML.
