Prada USA Corp. seeks a Senior Manager, Events in New York, NY. Responsible for the execution of the event activities in all mall and department store environments across the PRADA USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Caribbean networks (“Americas”). Manage events campaigns in order to support all the commercial needs in these outlets specifically in compliance with the Company’s image and standards, based on the strategies set locally and at Headquarters. Oversee and execute event efforts in department stores and malls specifically throughout the PRADA USA network. Manage the flow and implementation of all event tools, such as digital campaigns, social media posts, partner web content, invitations to events and marketing e-blasts in collaboration with mall and department store partners. Manage and oversee implementation of events in all department store and mall partners in the Americas. Collaborate and liaise with Prada Merchandising teams to ensure locally relevant and brand consistent event marketing across channels. Collaborate and liaise with marketing departments from all partners, coordination of reporting and analysis of reports for marketing team for events. Partner with HQ to uphold Prada Group standards and guidelines for all event activities in mall and department stores in North America, including oral and written communicating with HQ in Italian, and providing written and oral reports and presentations in both English and Italian. Maintain annual budget reporting/calendar of events in malls and department Stores. Build and maintain rapport and relationships with department stores and mall events and marketing teams. Collaborate with Prada legal to construct and maintain legal agreements with department stores and mall teams, and vendors for various events. Manage individual event budgets. Analyze sales results, best practices, and other metrics to include in reporting on individual events projects. Review competitor reports in markets to support event proposal process and strategy for individual markets. Manage an events assistant to ensure that the assistant carries out the administration and event coordination activities for events. No direct reports. Up to 40% of domestic and international travel required. Part-time telecommuting permitted.SALARY: $88,000 - $126,000/yearRequirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Marketing, or Communication, or related field and 3 years of experience in the luxury fashion industry. Must have worked for a luxury fashion company in one of the luxury capitals of the world: Paris, Milan, New York, London or Shanghai. Requires 3 years of experience with all of the following: event management; managing expenses and logistics for events or marketing offices; coordinating campaigns, pricing meetings, and receipt of merchandise for events; managing vendors and liaising with local mall and shopping center staff for events; training and supervising junior staff; preparing reports and project planning; and assisting or coordinating on luxury fashion shows in the US or Europe.
