This role is an exciting chance to join our newly launched travel media network, Kinective Media℠ by United Airlines. At Kinective Media, we believe in creating meaningful connections between travelers and brands through utilizing our award-winning loyalty program, MileagePlus. By leveraging insights from travel behaviors of over 165 million annual United flyers, Kinective Media connects customers to personalized, real-time advertising, content, experiences and offers from leading brands. We provide marketers with unparalleled opportunities to engage with their target audiences across various channels, including our award-winning mobile app and Inflight entertainment screens and more, pre, during, and post journey.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise from the advertising, media, ad tech & brand strategy world to drive new narratives and sales enablement efforts. As a new commerce media player, this is an opportunity to set the bar in terms of market positioning and support sales motions through innovative marketing and materials creation, content marketing, social media management and inform event strategies. Entrepreneurial in spirit, a ‘builder’ at heart, a strategic thinker with an eye on detail, this Senior Manager - Sales Marketing will work across functions to launch new brands and products in the AdTech world to achieve ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive B2B sales marketing strategy to define and articulate Kinective Media’s value proposition, supporting sales goals and requirements to arm the team with insights, narratives and materials to drive prospect and client engagement

  • Build B2B marketing capabilities to drive demand generation, content marketing and thought leadership, social media content, digital product marketing, client and industry event strategy and support, as well as press and communications partnership.

  • Partner with and guide creative resources to drive best-in-class materials and oversee and review all incoming creatives and co-branded media from internal United team and external media and creative agencies.

  • Strategize with the partnerships team on partner marketing and creative requests.

  • Communicate brand and creative guidelines across the organization and manage approved creative, ensuring brand appropriateness and safety before publication.

  • Manage relationships with critical stakeholders, especially sales, and facilitate clear and open communication between internal and external teams.

NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement with approximately 50% of the time spent on site at our NYC office location. This position will also require approximately 30% travel.

The salary for this position is $114,750 to $168,300, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Social Media marketing or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years in B2B and B2C marketing strategy and sales marketing within advertising, media and technology industry, and experience working with Design or Creative resources.

  • Knowledge of the AdTech & Martech industry

  • Proven expertise in building brand strategy and launching new brands and products in the Advertising, Media, Technology sector.

  • Entrepreneurial role with a start-up mentality, this role requires broad business and technical acumen and a strong aptitude for working through ambiguity.

  • Deep experience in sales enablement tactics and sales marketing to drive successful revenue teams with proven results.

  • Cross functional experience strategizing with sales leadership on marketing needs.

  • Deep knowledge of design principles with experience setting creative direction for a brand.

  • Strong understanding of brand safety and design best practices.

  • Ability to interface with creative talent and agencies and cultivate relationships.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing and Communications or a relevant technical or business (MBA) post graduate degree
