ManpowerGroup Senior Network Security Engineer in New York, New York

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

This position is not open to corp to corp. or H-1 transfer at this time

Require in person interview.

What's the Job?

  • Design, configure, migrate, tune and customize TLS/SSLVPN/Pulse Connect Secure features.

  • Support complex LAN/WAN security networks with extensive routing, switching, and firewall experience.

  • Install and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewall, Juniper firewall/switch hardware/OS software, and Kemp Load Balancer.

  • Diagnose network, application, and system/server issues using common network tools and monitoring systems such as Network TAP, Wireshark, Riverbed Pilot/shark, and Splunk.

  • Develop authentication and authorization protocols, experience in NAC technology (802.1x).

  • Expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and customization of TLS/SSLVPN/Pulse Connect Secure features

What's is required:

  • Minimum 8 Years’ Experience as a Network Engineer configuring and managing LAN/WAN infrastructure.

  • Extensive routing, switching, and firewall experience supporting complex LAN/WAN security networks.

  • Minimum 4 Years Certifications in the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Wireless (CCNA Wireless), or Datacenter (CCNA Datacenter), Juniper JNCIS-ENT, JNCIA. Palo Alto PCCSA, PCNSA.

  • Minimum 4 Years Working knowledge to install, configure & troubleshoot: Cisco, Juniper and Palo alto switches, firewall/VPN, load balancer, Remote access gateway, Aruba wireless controllers

  • Minimum 4 Years Aruba wireless access points and Controllers.

  • Minimum 4 Years Design, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber, 802.11b/g/n/ac Wireless LAN, 802.1Q, 802.1X,

  • Minimum 4 Years Strong experience with routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP Netflow, Syslog information, and Wireshark.

  • Minimum 4 years of IP addressing and subnetting (IPv4/6), routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.

  • Experience with large IP switched/routed based networks and firewalls

  • Minimum 4 Years Demonstrated experience with Juniper SSL VPN, Aruba 802.1X solutions, Splunk SEIM, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Juniper Firewalls.

  • Minimum 4 Years’ Experience with configuring Policy Based Routing (PBR); Layer 2, and IP Multicast over MPLS

  • Minimum 4 Years Network monitoring and troubleshooting with SNMP,

  • Minimum 4 Years Working experience and strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing and IP network VLANs, HSRP/VRRP, QOS, DHCP, DNS, WINS, UNIX/Linux, VMWare, MS Visio, etc.

  • Minimum 4 Years of VoIP implementation and support..

  • Minimum 4 Years Possess the ability to communicate effectively, on both a technical and non-technical level, with appropriate Agency staff, as well as with vendors; handle complex problems and high priority projects simultaneously, as well as to develop both short and long-term strategies; coordinate

  • Minimum 4 Years High level technical responses to difficult operational issues to resolve user/vendor related problems
