Beacon Hill Staffing Group Senior Payroll Specialist in New York, New York
My client, a Financial Services Firm located in NYC, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team. You will be working alongside a very strong group of payroll professionals and reporting to a Payroll Manager. This role will focus on the US payroll for approximately 1500 employees and you will partner with the global payroll team as well. You will be responsible for the timely preparation and accurate processing of our payroll, which includes friendly customer service to colleagues and responding to their payroll questions. You'll also work closely with HR and other internal teams to ensure all tax reporting, benefits-records administration, and payroll issues are handled accurately and responsibly. You will assist with semi-monthly payroll reports, reconciliations, and review of year-end tax forms while also contributing to ad hoc projects related to process improvements, system enhancements, and broader firm initiatives. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience, have demonstrated expectational work ethic and business acumen and ideally have worked in a fast-paced environment.
