Amazon Senior Product Marketing Manager, Amazon Out of Home Marketing in New York, New York

The WW Cross-Channel Marketing (XCM) team is looking for a talented product marketing manager who is customer obsessed, analytical, and has a passion for driving results. This position will lead the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Amazon’s physical owned and operated marketing channels. She/he will be responsible for assisting to define the strategy for what is considered “high-quality, delightful, and on-brand” for our customers and driving adoption through scalable GTM processes and mechanisms. A successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, be analytically minded, as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to influence others.

Key job responsibilities

Today, the role focuses mainly on delivery vans and packaging marketing, but will continue to expand to new and exciting channels. You will develop, execute, and steward marketing initiatives with clear objectives, priorities, measurement, and deliverables. You use your deep knowledge of our business objectives and understanding of relevant systems to invent, evolve, and simplify the end-to-end GTM process. This requires building relationships with many category, marketing, and operations teams to understand their business needs and challenges, identifying barriers of going to market at scale, and building the strategies, processes, and tools to deliver a high-quality, delightful customer experience every time. Solving big, ambiguous problems gets you up the in the morning. Your core partners say you are the one who brings it all together and makes it happen. You’re known for your high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, deep understanding of taking new launch products to market, and ability to lead.

A day in the life

You work backwards from your end customers to understand what types of messages and campaigns should be prioritized in these channels, and you simplify the approval and communication workflows to increase speed to market with the highest quality -- making all the tough tradeoffs along the way. You use data and listening tools to understand how customers respond to real-world marketing, and partner with your portfolio and product team members to continuously improve with each new campaign. You will oversee the end-to-end campaign process and be responsible for delivering campaigns on-time. You will also get to influence the process as we aim for continuous improvement. Through documentation of process, you will get to leave a lasting mark on the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
