Overall Purpose

Project Management at VaynerMedia provides a crucial perspective on the business dynamics. We are a human centric, culture obsessed discipline where we dive deep into audience insights, media trends, cultural shifts, and tech innovations that inform our strategic recommendations. Our team is collectively redefining and modernizing the way our clients harness consumer and cultural intelligence, develop brand strategy and plan for attention.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Be the hub between creative, account, strategy, media and all other internal teams, driving projects forward quickly and efficiently

  • Work closely with Account Leads to define project requirements, develop budgets and timelines, write statements of work, and plan resources for all projects

  • Manage the project throughout the full life cycle of projects including but not limited to: Paid and Organic Brand Creative, Social Content, Digital Videos, and Partnership Activations/Events. Experience working on B2B brands in addition is a plus

  • Build project plans with an understanding of internal resources, third-party capabilities, time requirements, and business objectives

  • Lead and schedule necessary project related meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, inter-agency meetings, and deliverables reviews

  • Keep all project stakeholders (creative, account, strategy, production, analytics, etc.) on track to hit all deadlines by ensuring proper briefings, check-ins, hand-offs, and information transfer

  • Work closely with the Director of Project Management, Creative leads & Account Directors to manage and allocate resources in an effective and efficient way

  • Develop staffing plans and write client SOWs, vendor agreements, change orders, and other contract documents

  • Aid in the management of the freelance process when resources are needed, hired, and utilized

  • Liaise with finance, operations and legal teams on project and client needs

  • QC organic assets for brand and legal compliance

  • Managing the organization and tracking of project documentation using a project management tool

  • Act as producer on small scale productions

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • 7-9 years strategically building brands at a top agency, working for Fortune 500 clients - must have experience understanding the intersection of business strategy, consumer insights and digital behavior in grounding big, purposeful ideas

  • Management experience, recognized for their ability to balance multiple work-streams with ease

  • Strong leadership experience, recognized for their ability to empower a team

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated through their ability to interact with and influence people of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and collaborative results

  • Strategic thinking with balanced analytical and creative approach to integrated marketing planning

  • Understanding of multiple channels for communications and connections, and their role in brand and content marketing

  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly

Base Salary

$105,000 — $132,500 USD
