OVERVIEW: The Event Marketing Specialist supports all facets of Event Marketing for Kering Beauté brands. This role involves organizational and operational assistance in developing and executing special events and programs, along with managing daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills for client and vendor relations, a self-motivated approach, and effective problem-solving abilities. Prior hands-on experience in Event Coordination and Corporate Events is highly desirable. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of key ‘Hallmark Holiday’ events, including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day, ensuring all logistical details are meticulously managed. 

  • Assist in the comprehensive planning, organization, and execution of special events and promotions, ensuring all aspects are effectively coordinated and managed.   

  • Develop and communicate program directives, ensuring clarity and alignment on event objectives. 

  • Support daily communication with the National Sales Team, wholesale partners, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clarity on event directives.  

  • Maintain seasonal budgets, event calendars, brand ambassador schedules, and the National Sales Team database to ensure organized and timely execution of events.  

  • Manage inventory of event marketing collateral, including presentations, invitations, and other creative projects.  

  • Process orders for event elements and maintain accurate forecast files. 

  • Research and identify new opportunities, partnerships, and innovative event concepts, presenting findings to the greater marketing team. 

  • Work on-site at various events, which may include evenings, weekends, and some travel requirements.  

  • Support the Marketing Department by maintaining shared drive organizational tools and ensuring efficient access to resources.  

  • Assist with managing Marketing travel and expense (T&E) requirements, including travel planning.  

  • Issue the Monthly Marketing Newsletter to keep stakeholders informed of key activities and updates.  

     

CORE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 

  • 2 years of experience in the luxury sector, preferably in the beauty or fragrance industry, including internships, with knowledge of both Corporate and Consumer events. 

  • Availability for nights, weekends, and light travel during peak event seasons. 

  • Strong understanding of event management principles, creative writing, and presentation functions. 

  • Excellent collaborative project management skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various departments. 

  • Innovative critical thinker with strong strategic skills and analytical abilities. 

  • Exceptional oral, written, and visual communication skills. 

  • Team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment and collaborates effectively with diverse teams. 

  • A desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting, demonstrating adaptability to change. 

  • Comfortable working within a small team and willing to embrace new challenges and opportunities as they arise.
