Partners are our evangelists and customers. They include agencies, tool providers, AdTech providers, consultants, content creators, and designers, who use their expertise to help advertisers and marketers achieve their retail and advertising goals by appropriately leveraging a diverse portfolio of Amazon Ads products. The Ads Partner Experience organization (APX) helps partners and their associates (business development, campaign managers, developers and other functions) create value for advertisers at scale. We accomplish this by delivering scalable products that build partner expertise in Amazon tools and best practices, offering insights to improve advertiser outcomes, and incentivizing innovation on behalf of our mutual customers. In this role, you will be defining and building the future of the Amazon Partner Network experience enabling millions of existing and new advertisers to discover the partner network and find the right partner that meets their advertising needs.
This role is focused on growing the impact and influence of our Amazon Ads partner network in our international locales. We seek leaders who can think big, deal with ambiguity and innovate on behalf of the customers. A successful candidate will be able to work backwards from customers to define the business case and opportunities in our international countries and present the same to Senior Leadership. The candidate will be able to identify products or programs that will help address these opportunities at scale across countries. They will be able to launch quickly, measure impact of initiatives and use customer feedback to improve on their programs iteratively with bias for action. They will have an established background in program management, stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Our team is distributed across the United States, with team members across time zones. We gather at least once per quarter in places like NYC, Seattle, and San Luis Obispo to plan out the upcoming term.
Key job responsibilities
Business Insights and Strategy - Identify new business opportunities for the Amazon Ads Partner Network in our international locations and work customer backwards and with out sales/account management teams to define and quantify the opportunities as well develop the programs or products to address said opportunities.
Metrics and Impact - Define and measure the key metrics to evaluate the business opportunities for AAPN in international locales and measure the impact once products or programs are launched in partnership with product managers and engineering teams.
Stakeholder management - interface and influence your stakeholders, balancing business needs of our stakeholder teams, needs of our partners and that of our advertisers and drive clarity in ambiguous situations

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
