About the Internship
The Tunnels, Bridges & Terminals (TB&T) Department is looking for an intern to join their Technical & Maintenance Services team.
Responsibilities
Review facility condition survey reports, assist in preparing various repair & ratings logs.
Asist in Right of Entry Application and Tenant Construction & Alteration Process.
Analyze facility maintenance data for TB&T Asset Management Group.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
Major in Civil Engineering or a related field
Desired Qualifications
Solid knowledge of civil/structural engineering is preferred
Past internship experience in civil/structural engineering field is a plus
Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to learn new knowledge and technical skills
Interest in public service and/or transportation
Internship Details
The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
The format is expected to be hybrid

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $29.57 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
