ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

The OTG Paid Summer Internship allows students to have an immersive, hands-on learning experience within OTG Management at our New York Office. The Intern will be assigned to one of the following parts of the business: Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Management. The Intern will support the department by working on (but not limited to) special projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities and Project List:  

  • Learn and uphold the organization's values, philosophy, ethics, integrity, and code of conduct

  • Assist with various projects and research, as requested by the department

  • Learn the ROB (rhythm of business)

  • Special Projects might include:

  • Skills assessment and Career Matrix support

  • Recruiting support, AI implementation, Skill based role setup in Dayforce

  • Instructional design support, draft documentation, and communication, course reporting and analysis, intranet updates/enhancements, webinar production support

  • Interview/hiring event support

  • Learn key functions and update/provide input based on Ceridian Dayforce, our HR (Human Resources) system

  • Provide administrative support to the assigned department, as needed

    Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an Associate or bachelor's Program in an accredited College or University, pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communication

  • Knowledge of HRIS (HR Information System) or HCM systems is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • High levels of initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to take constructive feedback

  • Successful in both an independent and team-oriented work environment

  • Strong work ethic and integrity, with high energy and a positive attitude

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hospitality and customer experience oriented

  • Previous experience /knowledge working in a position with high confidentiality

  • Experience working within a cross-functional team

    Pay rate: $20 per hour.
